My brother went to Iraq.
He came back “wrong.” I’d never met whatever returned in his place.
IUt reminded me of the movie Terror Trilogy, the one where she uses black magic to raise her son from the dead and bring him back to he, becuse she can’tmake herself accept that “Sometimes dead is bett\er.”
The thing that returned to her was not her son; it was a monster.
I can’t believe what came back from Iraq, but it was NOT the one who left, and I resent everyone who voted yes to sending him there.
I feel like the brother I always knew died inside and this thing came back in his body.
I’m sorry, but none of it (Iraq and the World Trade Center) have eve felt less than painfully personal to me.
I know someone who died on Floor 102 of Tower 1. We can see him begging for help; then we see the helicopters, the subject of the request, fly away from them. Hundreds of people were trapped above the flames; nothing would’ve helped with so few helicopters, but that’s never stopped the look in his face when he realizes he’s not going to get any aid from tearing me to shreds any time I watch it.

Thank you Bob. Until a few decades past I was very involved in politics.
Getting the right to vote at age 18 was very exciting. (I’m giving away my age.) As time moved on and I gave my life to Christ the realization came that God is in control and not the voting booth. We are IN the world not OF the world. He knows how this world scene is going to play out. He sets the plan in motion. He puts rulers in their places. Of course I question sometimes but “trust in the Lord ” and not try to figure it out is one of the practices of Faith. My job is to be the eyes, ears, hands and most importantly the Heart of Christ. To help bring peace and solace to a troubled soul. To bring them Jesus. That does not nor ever will come from a voting booth.

Yes..it's almost like they have become brain washed..I did read an article a while ago that basically said to " sincerely listen to them" but I do find that hard to do since some of the things they believe are down right laughable..I can't agree to untruths but I can grow in just listening without any response..

How does a person find common ground with a group that holds sacred the murder of the unborn (by the millions), enables and promotes the sterilization and mutilation of children, and allows the mass illegal invasion of millions (in order to get their votes!)? And all the while lies to the people of the country with every speech, with the media enabling and propagandizing the whole time. There can be no cooperation with that kind of people, even if they call themselves “Christians.”

In reply to Darin. People will not accept the 2020 election results because it was an entirely corrupted process. Those who perpetrated the fraud will never be recognized as legitimate, and there will be consequences for their crimes, crimes that continue to pile up: illegal mass incarceration for thousands who protested the results of the election, sham trials indicting and condemning a political rival by those in power, and the attempted assassination of said rival. There are many federal crimes yet to be brought to trial, and they will be brought; the illegitimate regime in the White House will be brought to justice, wait and see. They brought us to the brink with their criminality, and there can be NO compromise with that kind of evil.

There’s one party that thrives on lies. If only they could be held accountable for the lies and misinformation. For example, it would really be quite a show if each candidate during a presidential debate was fact checked in real time. I’d love to see an image of each candidate in the background, and have their noses grow longer as a function of their lies and misinformation. That would reveal their true nature.

I have just finished reading How Democracies Die by Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt and it sheds new light on the Founding Fathers and the Constitution. I highly recommend it.
