I still have pleasant memories of my days at Carville as Protestant Chaplain with Dr. Paul W. Brand as my supervisor. He wasn't much of a boss because he didn't like to "boss." But what a wonderful mentor he was, as well as his beloved Margaret who worked as the hospital's opthamologist for the many leprosy patients we served over the years. The reason I mention this is because I fondly recall your personal visit, Philip, for the purpose of meeting with and collaborating with Dr. Paul to co-author books with him. I have long sense read each one and applaud your ability and God-given gift at writing. I especially appreciate your clarity and honesty of expression and the proper tribute you have given to the famous Dr. Paul Brand. You, along with the Brands, rank at the very top of my list of people I most admire. May God continue to inspire you and bless in all your endeavors and travels. Sincerly, Rev.
