Thank you for your notes on Kazakhstan. I was there in 1989, before the collapse of the Soviet Union, and I’m sure I would recognize little of it today. And thank you for your books. I’ve just finished your book on Prayer (my 10th. of your books), and it is among your best. I admire your integrity.

Cally Goddard is wrong, concerning geography. Kazahstan is quite far from Latvia, even if Latvian icehockey team last friday competed with them won. Latvia is in northern eastern Europe. But it would be nice, if Philipp would visit our country. Actually I would be happy if I could somehow help to publish some of his very honest and evangelical books in Latvia, while I understand that copyright issue is not allways easy solved theese days.

It’s always great to hear of your travels. There are actually a great number of nanny’s in Colorado from Latvia, pretty close to the border there if I remember my geology correctly. We named our daughter after someone from that region and her mother stays with my mom when she comes to visit. Wonderful people I do need to say.
