hello Philip, although the 50 year celebration of civil rights was, and is, a marker in human history, a sad marker that today June of 2020 we may be further in need of loving our neighbor than at any time in history in America. I too have learned a lot from your writing and follow the God given things and truths that you speak about, write about, and live about and you always present an ability to speak from the heart, clearly, no need for fancy jargon or $3.oo dollar words, just right at home for each of us to quickly understand. Thank you.

Your ministry in print has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I, too, grew up in the South, heard it “proved” from the Bible that black people were cursed, less than, and forever destined to be “servants.” I thank God for the changes that have taken place, and for your voice in advocating those changes. I hope that one day, the church will recognize its mistake in dealing with the homosexual question. God bless you for taking on the hard questions.
