    Hello Philip,
Thank you for your insightful books. I can relate to your teachings on doubt, that is one of my problems as a Christian and it’s a blessing to me to know that others struggle with it to. I just want the world to know that I do believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the only way to the Father. but sometimes doubts just seem to overtake me. When I read how you feel in the mornings (sometimes empty and have to get recharged by prayer and reading to reconnect) I can relate totally.

Every time I read one of your books (reading “What Good Is God” right now) I am amazed at how I relate to your thoughts and doubts and how much you help me. I want to share your books with everyone! I look up to you like you look up to CS Lewis, and hope I get to meet you sometime, if no other reason than to say, “I met Philip Yancey!” Not sure who I’ll impress in my world, but I will certainly be thrilled! Ah, but when I show future generations your autograph, they will be so envious 🙂

    Hope your trip was wonderful!

    Philip,
Thankyou so much for taking the time to reply to me. I decided to order the 2008 books instead, as I had no joy in sourcing an old video. There are a few of the 1998 books that haven’t yet been written in, so I will try and get a refund for them.
    Many thanks for your interest.
    Sarah.

    Dear brother Philip,
I just want to thank you for your books. I am especially grateful for “In His Image,” “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made,” “Church: Why Bother?” and “Prayer.”
“What’s So Amazing About Grace” is the best Christian book I’ve ever read.
    With love in Christ,
    Olga

Thank you for asking questions and sharing your thoughts on so many topics. Your honesty is refreshing and makes you, to me at least, more credible. I have had a similar experience with the church growing up, and I can relate to your anger as well as your wonder when God shows you a different perspective. May you and your wife, on this journey, become more established in God, and continue to encourage others with the insight and teachings you receive.
